Kristen Anderson

Certified Veterinary Technician

Kristen was lured into the animal field from an early age when she started working at her family’s pet store in upstate New York. Her interest in becoming a Veterinary Technician came to light while she was volunteering at a shelter in Florida after 4 hurricanes hit the region hard back in 2004. Kristen returned to New York and graduated from SUNY Canton with her associate’s degree in veterinary technology in 2007. She has been an integral part of our operations since joining the CVH team in January of 2009. Working in general practice allows her to build lasting relationships with our pet parents and their four-legged family members. She has a soft spot for German Shorthair pointers, Dachshunds, and sighthounds. When Kristen isn’t hard at work, she enjoys baking, reading, traveling (especially to concerts), and keeping her dachshund pup, Stillwell Angel (Welly), out of trouble.
