Dr. Michelle Oberman

Veterinarian

Dr. Oberman grew up in sunny California with a household full of animals before making her way to Massachusetts to attend Brandeis University. She graduated Brandeis Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa with her bachelor’s degree in biology. Dr. Oberman then worked briefly in pediatric oncology research, helping to improve immunotherapies for rare pediatric cancers.

Dr. Oberman attended veterinary school at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She comes to CVH having previously practiced small animal medicine on the North Shore. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, behavior, nutrition, and she is particularly enamored with her sighthound and feline patients.

Most importantly, Dr. Oberman is passionate about going above and beyond for her patients and their families and takes pride in her empathy for all beings. She enjoys tackling complicated internal medicine cases and offering practical, compassionate treatment options. When not at work, Dr. Oberman can be found spending time with her husband and their two adorable and mischievous bunnies, Arni and Yael. She also enjoys horseback riding, painting (especially animal portraits), and going on extremely long walks.
