Orginally from Greenwich, CT, Kirby graduated from the University of Vermont in 2015 with a B.S. in Special Education. After college, she put her educational skills to work as a science educator at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT, and the Stamford Museum and Nature Center. As she became more involved with the animal husbandry aspect of her position, she decided to make the transition into the field of veterinary healthcare. Kirby became a veterinary technician 2016 and loves that a big part of her job is helping to educate owners and provide the best possible care for their pets. In her free time, Kirby enjoys hiking, boating, and indoor rock climbing. You can also find her spending quality bonding time with her boxer, Herbie, and bearded dragon, Krampus.
